IS THIS NEW NEPAL?

Nepal being small country is full of natural beauties and it lies in the lap of Himalayan. Although there are so many natural things, it lags behind in modern means of development. We are unable to have such developmental work that we should proud. There are several plan and policies formed to bring drastic change in Nepal but those all plan and policies are only limited in paper.

Since antiquity so many people fought for bringing change in the situation of Nepal. People were involved in different mass movement for themselves, most of them lost their lives but those all proved to be worthless. We are still living in the same situation as it used to be. The main objectives of Mass Movement II were to recognize Nepal as a secular state, scrapping the position of the king, to over throw king's regression and to ensure civic liberty and total press freedom. But there were any future plan what will be done after removing the king. The so called ministers and prime minister never thought how the country will go on the way of progress instead all the leaders thought to fulfill their own whims. They forgot the Nepalese people who make them their representative.

All the citizens were happy that something good would be there in Nepal. They thought that Nepal would be really different that it used to be. They thought of New Nepal but it looks as if they all are wrong in their expectation. Nothing new has been done here rather than people are the victim of price hikes, load-shedding, scarcity of commodities of daily use. No one has any concerned to the need and necessities of local people. Prithavi Narayan Shah, the great said, “Nepal is the common garden of four castes and thirty sub castes.” But it also does have meaning as all the leaders or people, I have no idea, are going to break the country in the name of religion, caste and some such other factors.Still all the people are hopeful if there could be any wonderful miracle that may change Nepal into New Nepal. They will live happily and enjoy all those Rights that a human being should. I just pray to god that such day will come very soon and all the Nepalese people will be living in peace and harmony.
