Nationality and Subjects of National Concern

National concerns
- connected with the present condition of the state
- possessed by every independent nation

The subjects of the concern of Nepal are as follows:

National Integrity

- Nepal is an independent, sovereign, democratic, socialism-oriented, impenetrable, secular and inclusive country
- Unity in diversity , a common garden of 4 castes and 36 sub-caste
- National integrity: the state of being completed and forming wholeness and unity of all the citizens of all the parts of the country
-Nepal never became the community of substation Britain
- The national heroes like Balabhadra Kunwar, Bhakti Thapa, fought bravely to save the national integrity.

Measures to promote national integrity

- Fulfilling the rights and judicial demands of people.
- Develop legal provision for equal distribution resources and means of the country.
- Eradicate all types and forms of negative discrimination based on race, religion, tribes, class, etc.
- Develop an effective diplomatic relationship with neighboring as well as abroad countries.
- Make the system of inclusive participation of people in all sectors and authorities.
- Encourage the citizens to maintain peace and order in the harmony.

Boarder Encroachment

- boarder encroachment: the act of controlling the land of other country illegally or by force
- National security: the act of checking criminal activities at the border for national security
-  a high risk of broader encroachment on the southern part than in northern part as the there is an open border in the southern part

Causes of border encroachment

- The following are the causes of border encroachment:
- Unclear division of boundary
- Population growth
- Lack of complete historical data
- Negligence of the government
- Lack of border map
- Change of course by the river

Consequences of border encroachment:

- Illegal trade
- Easy human trafficking
- Easy to escape for criminals
- High increment in migration rate
- Easy enhance of the traffickers
- Increment of price of local goods in the market

Measures to solve border encroachment

- applying VISA system
- providing strict security at border (provision of SSB)
- treaty and agreement must be signed between countries
- feeling of nationality should be raised among people
- the principle of Panchsheel must be followed
- diplomatic relation should be strengthened

Dashgaja

- no man's land
- border areas between two countries not used by any

Self-esteem/ Self-respect

- feeling of being pleasant as well as comfortable with one's attitude and activities
- feeling of pride in oneself & own country
- glorious tradition of Nepalese people as not bowing down to other country in any situation
-  our country known as 'the land of brave warriors'

Measures to promote self-respect
- creating mutual understanding between different races, tribes and the class in the country
- developing the sense of brotherhood and harmony among the people
-  being patriotic towards the nation.
- following the path shown by our ancestors
- not falling into any sort of greed
- not bowing in front of enemies in any condition

My visit to Lumbini

 1. Introduction Educational tour is the best way to get knowledge about anything. To get knowledge about historical, religious and natural importance of Lumibini our school organized a four days long educational tour from 25 th -28 th of Kartik 2071. We students of grade 9 and 10 including teachers headed towards Lumbini which lies at the distance of 227 km away from Kathmandu valley. Altogether we were 40 students and 8 teachers including school staff. To make our tour fruitful we have designed some objectives. 2. Objectives a)        To know about cultural and religious importance of Lumbini. b)        To gain knowledge about life of Lord Buddha. c)        To know about geographical and climatic condition of Lumbini . 3.
